Holton Elementary Up-Coming Events: 

There was great feedback last spring when I sent home a calendar of events to help families keep track of all the great things going on at HES.  This new format for informing parents will come home each month.  There will be a list of activities coming up and the additional information portion will communicate anything important that is not a calendar type of event.  I hope this helps you stay informed as a parent at HES!     Thanks for all you do!  ~Mrs. Dawson J

Additional Information:

·         Please remember to send your child with warm, winter clothes for outside recesses.  Also, please write their name in all belongings with a marker/pen to help make sure they don’t lose their warm and toasty items. If you need warm clothes for your child, please call the office at 821-1825 as we often receive donations we would be happy to give to children in need.

·         Please remember to take time each night to read with your child. J

·         Finally, we have been focusing on career readiness during our Team Tuesday meetings this year.  As a staff, we want your child to consider their future each day.  We want them to recognize what they do now will help shape their future.  Learning to read, understanding math, science & social studies are critical to their future.  Learning to work in groups collaboratively, seeking information from many sources and becoming independent learners are also critical to their future.  We hope you join us in our desire to prepare your student for their future by making learning important each day.
