I am so excited to begin this school year as Holton Elementary's new principal! My name is Kimberly Morden. I reside in New Era with my husband, 6 wonderful children ranging in ages from 3 to 11, and our cat, Lucy. I bring with me 12 years experience as an educator, primarily at the elementary level and most recently working as an administrator with Shelby Public Schools. I am thrilled to be here and look forward to working with students, parents, teachers and the community to improve upon the successes already happening here at HES.

My vision is to create a community of students, parents and staff dedicated to the development of every child's innate desire to learn and achieve. Our community will value and accommodate diversity of cultures, languages, learning styles, rates of learning, and ways of understanding. Collectively, we will provide a safe, supportive environment that fosters curiosity, inquiry and a life long passion for learning. Through cooperation and collaboration among school, family and community, students will become productive citizens in an ever-changing society.
