Elementary Social Worker Hi and welcome to my page! I am Meg Eaton, the Licensed Social Worker at Holton Elementary. I have been in the field for almost 20 years, am married and have two almost-grown children. I have the privilege of working with children, teachers and parents to help kids be successful in school. My focus is on children who are struggling with behavioral, social or emotional problems at school, but I also consult with parents who would like information about helping their children with problems at home. Another part of my job is to meet with parents who are concerned that their child may have a handicapping condition that requires special services, and I help them sort out the Special Education process. I have enjoyed getting to know folks in Holton and have been very impressed with the strong family values, patriotism, and respect for education I have found here! I can be reached at 231-821-1829 anytime. Below you will find some links that I use when I need answers to common problems with kids: Sites for ParentsRaising my kids was the hardest job I've ever had. I talked with my husband, my parents and sister, my friends, their teachers, and anyone who would listen to try to sort out what path to take when they were young. I also did a lot of reading - books, articles and websites. These are some favorites!
