Parent Involvement

We are looking for parent input during our School Improvement team meetings.  We meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7:45-8:45 in the Elementary School Library.  If you are able to join us once or every month, we would love to have your input!  

Holton Elementary School is a Title 1 Building  

^{Holton Elementary School is a Title 1 building.  This means we receive money each year from the Title 1 Federal Grant to use to help our students have extra opportunities for support in reading, math and writing instruction.  Currently, we use our Title 1 money for a literacy coach, literacy paraprofessionals, a math lab teacher, a math intervention specialist, all day kindergarten, a writing intervention teacher, purchasing books for all reading levels and a few smaller items.  We have recently been notified that we will receive some additional Title 1 money for this school year and would like your input on ideas you think would best serve your child in their learning at Holton Elementary School.  When responding, please remember this money can only be used for instructional services in reading, math and writing.  Thanks in advance for your help!
