Tuition Incentive Program

The Tuition Incentive Program is a program from the Michigan Department of Treasury. In order to be eligible, a student must have (or have had) Medicaid coverage for 24 months within a 36-consecutive month period between the ages of nine and high school graduation. See your College Adviser for questions about eligibility.

The Tuition Incentive Program has two phases. Phase 1 pays for your entire two years of tuition at any Michigan Community College, Ferris State University, Lake Superior State University, Northern Michigan University, and the Michigan State Agricultural Tech Program.

During Phase II you are eligible for $2,000 over the course of your junior and senior year college.
