COMMITTED TO LIFELONG LEARNING

About Our District

Holton Public Schools is a small, rural school in Muskegon County, MI that is surrounded by a supportive and close-knit community. The District includes the Village of Holton, and all, or parts of, the Townships of Holton, Cedar Creek, and Blue Lake. Our school is known for its outstanding faculty, small class sizes, and high quality facilities. Studies are focused on mathematics, English Language Arts, social studies and science; while also delivering health, physical education, and other electives. We operate a one-to-one computing initiative throughout the district, where all students are provided with a Google Chromebook. An online virtual academy program supports the non-traditional learning of students in and outside of our district. Students also have the option of participating in the Early College of Muskegon County program, which allows a student to earn both their associate degree and their high school diploma concurrently. The graduating class of 2023 was eligible for over $3,000,000 in scholarships. Resident students who graduate from Holton Public Schools and meet the eligibility criteria, will receive the Muskegon Area Promise tuition-free college scholarship. We are a district with a huge amount of community pride. On Holton!
