Exciting news for both the Fremont and Holton communities as we kick off the new year! We’ll be wrestling at Fremont High School on Monday, January 5th, as part of a Salute to Service Night. Check out the flyers below for more information. On Holton!
On Friday, December 12th our HS Student Council went to WZZM for the TOYS for TOTS "School Spirit Challenge" to deliver the toys collected from staff, students and community members. We were joined by some special Christmas Characters (The Grinch, Gingy and Mr. Moose) . This was our 3rd year collecting for this important organization. We are very proud to be a part of such a special act of giving. We know there will be many smiles on Christmas Day due to the kindness of others. This year we collected 218 toys. This is more than double from last year. We would like to send out a special thank you, to Ms LeRoux's 1st grade class. On Friday December 5th they had a little field trip from the Elementary to the High School to make their delivery of 18 toys, escorted by some Christmas Elf helpers. On Tuesday, November 25th, the HS Student Council hosted the BIG GAME "STAFF vs STUDENT BASKETBALL GAME" This was a competitive game right from the start. The Students were VICTORIOUS with a final score of 31- 25. This was a Fundraiser for Project ELF. Which is a committee that raises money and collects toys for needy families in the Holton Area. This year we raised $989.00 from the Staff vs Student Game. The HS Student Council would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all who participated and attended this year's game!
